I want to change my Request Information Form. Here are some of the things that I would like to do. I want to make it easier/quicker to fill out and make it a bit more friendlier. My thought is that by doing so, I may get more people to fill it out while visiting my site.
I want to take some of the (r) required items, while leaving that field in. So if a client only wants me to email them information, they don't have to give me their phone number etc.
I'd like to change the order of some of the fields.
I'd like to be able to add some text to the top of the form.
I did a quick search of the forum, but really didn't find an answer. I am hoping there is an easy way of doing this without learning computer programming LOL.
Thank you in advance to any who reply!!

To configure the Request For Information Form go here: Website Tools -> Request Info Form. There are multiple configurations that you can use to customize the form.
If you would like more control over the form, construct your own HTML form and pass the variable to the djfinder.com server. If you are unfamiliar with how to configure or hack HTML web forms, contact your web designer and they will be able to do it for you. |

Troy.
I really appreciate your quick response.. . . but I am just not seeing what you are telling me. I went to the place you told me, and while I could see how to change some of the information that was to be gathered I didn't see what you meant by 'multiple configurations'.

Below that is a section called "Questions To Include". Check the ones that you want to include, uncheck those that you want to exclude, and then scroll down and click save.

Troy, we would like to have more than one request information form. What is the best way to go about doing that? We would like a different form for video, DJ, bands, design, etc. This was the only post I saw that came close. What did you mean by "If you would like more control over the form, construct your own HTML form and pass the variable to the djfinder.com server"?

Website Tools -> Request Info Form -> Get Static Form Code
Grab that code and have your web person hack it and put it on your site.
