We get asked this question quite regularly so I decided it was time to create a sticky explaining what <maintenance post> means.

If you've posted on the forum or read a thread, you'll have noticed at the end of most threads a member of the team will post the tag  "<maintenance post>".

This is an internal DJEP tracking post which allows us to see when a thread is finished and an issue is deemed as resolved.  If we've posted the tag, we feel all questions within the thread have been answered and no further actions are required.

If you find you are having a problem and find a thread in the forum which matches your problem... and spot the maintenance post that means a fix is provided somewhere within the forum thread.
Please read the thread before posting a new thread

If the "fix" provided in the forum thread doesn't work for you, we kindly ask you start a new forum thread instead of posting a reply on the old one. This allows us to track bugs more efficiently and also means that if someone else has a similar problem they can find the fix in your thread :)
